Usher will perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2024.




Grammy Award-winning artist Usher says “Yes!” to headlining the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show.

According to a press release from Roc Nation and the NFL on Sunday,

Usher will take the field at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas during the halftime show presented by Apple Music.


“It is the honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl appearance off my bucket list. “I can’t wait to give the world a show like they’ve never seen before,” Usher said in a statement on Sunday, adding: “Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity possible. “We'll see each other soon."


The singer performed his extensive collection of R&B hits during his “Usher – My Way The Residency” concert series in Las Vegas. Since bursting onto the music scene in 1994 with his self-titled debut album, Usher, he has sold more than 80 million records worldwide and won eight Grammy Awards.

include songs like “U Got It Bad,” “U Don’t Have to Call,” and “Nice & Slow,” among others.


“Usher is the best artist and showman.Since his debut at the age of 15, he has gone his own way. “Aside from his impeccable singing and exceptional choreography, Usher shows his soul,” Jay-Z said in a statement Sunday.


His statement continued: “His remarkable journey has taken him to one of the world's greatest stages. “I can’t wait to see the magic.”


Usher previously appeared on the Super Bowl halftime stage in 2011 to sing "OMG" with the Black Eyed Peas, but the 2024 show will be his first headlining act.


Rihanna's halftime show in 2023 became the most-watched halftime show of all time. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar will headline the Super Bowl LVI halftime show in 2022.


The Super Bowl will air on February 11, 2024 on CBS.
