Chelsea have signed a shirt sponsorship deal with sports technology company Infinite Athlete worth around £40 million after Chelsea started the season without a contract following the end of their deal with telecommunications group Three.
The Infinite Athlete logo, which provides an integrated platform for everything from broadcast broadcasting to athlete performance, will appear on the front of Chelsea's men's and women's teams' playing jerseys and on the sleeve of their club training jerseys.
“In Infinite Athlete, we have a like-minded partner,” Chelsea general manager Chris Jurasek said in a statement. “The speed at which our relationship has grown as Infinite Athlete’s business has evolved made this an obvious extension of our partnership.”
The new sponsor's shirts will be worn for the first time when Chelsea take on London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
